Help us improve the MSD’s downtown development services.

The City of Wilmington has contracted with WDI to provide additional programs and services to help improve Downtown.  Funded through a Municipal Service District (MSD), WDI provides additional programs that focus on enhanced safety, cleanliness, economic development, marketing and physical improvement projects.  To help gauge the results of these services, we are seeking your help to complete the attached survey to provide your thoughts and feedback about the MSD operations.

The survey should only take a few minutes to complete. WDI will use the results to improve the MSD services it provides to Downtown businesses and property owners.  As we all want a stronger more vibrant downtown, this survey will help the WDI Board of Directors deliver extra programs and activities that will address the expectations and concerns of area stakeholders.

A Board of Directors with 38 members leads WDI.  Directors represent specific categories and members include retailers, restaurateurs, professional service providers, property owners, residents, representatives of local government and nonprofit organizations.  The Board also employs a professional staff with two full time and two part time employees.

For an overview of enhanced services funded by the MSD services, feel free to visit the web site at www.downtownambassador.com.  You can also find a map of the MSD area and a detailed report for FY 18-19 in the MSD tab.  This survey can also be completed on-line at wilmingtondowntown.com/2020Survey.

Thank you in advance for taking time to respond to the survey and returning your response by February 1, 2020.  If you have any questions or comments about the survey or WDI, feel free to contact us at your convenience.
