Youth Recognition Awards Overview
The City of Thousand Oaks recognizes and celebrates youth volunteer contributions through the Youth Recognition Awards and is reliant upon organizations submitting nominations – this online form allows you to do just that. Any organization or school can nominate a youth for these awards. You can nominate multiple candidates. Nominations from individuals (parents/friends) are not accepted.
Nominations must be received by February 28th, 2020, 5:00 p.m.
Selected nominees will be interviewed: High School April 6, 2020; Middle School April 7, 2020 ▪ 3:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Awards Ceremony: Thursday, May 21, 2020 6:30 p.m. at the Civic Arts Plaza Scherr Forum Theatre. Ceremony is by invitation only for selected Achievement and Youth of the Year awards and nominating agencies.
