The purpose of the Utility General Fund Transfer Survey is to compare retail sales, total operating electric revenues and electric fund transfers for FMPA's member cities. This survey contains up to eight questions and should take less than 10 minutes to complete.

Information needed:

  • Total amount transferred from the electric system's fund to the general fund for fiscal 2019.
  • Revised general transfer policy (if applicable) to send to
  • A list of interdepartmental services included in the general fund transfer, if applicable.
  • Estimated amounts included in the general fund transfer for services provided by the electric department, if applicable.
  • Total electric revenues for fiscal 2019.
  • Annual kWh sales for fiscal 2019.
  • The city’s municipal property tax millage rate for fiscal 2019.
While taking the survey, respondents can go back to previous questions and edit responses. However, if  the survey is closed prior to completing the survey, responses are not saved.

Responses are due by July 31, and the results will be shared with survey participants.
