CCEP's Summer STEM Series offers an excellent opportunity for teachers to learn more about key industry sectors as well as career opportunities available in our region. It is one of the many high-quality teacher professional development opportunities available in the East Bay. 

Please take a few minutes to learn more about the Summer STEM Series opportunities available:

We are offering six STEM Summer Camps in 2019:

1) Engineering, Construction & Manufacturing, @ Diablo Valley College, June 10-14, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
2) Biotechnology Camp, @ TBD, June 17-21, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
3) Discover E! @ CSU East Bay, Hayward, June 23-28, Sunday-Friday. BY INVITATION ONLY (Only select school districts are eligible to participate.)
4) West Contra Costa Solar Energy Academy, @ Contra Costa College (tentative), July 8-12, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. BY INVITATION ONLY (Only West Contra Costa students are eligible to participate.)
5) Tri-Valley Solar Energy Academy, @TBD location, July 15-19, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. BY INVITATION ONLY (Only select Tri-Valley school districts are eligible to participate.)
6) Environmental Engineering, @ CSU-East Bay, Concord, July 22-26, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.


As a member of each summer camp team, you will be provided a stipend which varies depending upon the camp, from $500 to $750. The residential camp stipend is larger. Stipends will be received by mail two to three weeks after the camp concludes.
