Sign up to host a topically-themed dinner!

Saturday evening, we are encouraging conference attendees to make their own dinner reservations at their favorite NYC restaurant or home, and invite other attendees to sign up to join their party for a small dinner to discuss or share about a subject that is alive for them.

Host Guidelines:
1. These dinners should be built around shared, inclusive conversation, NOT promotion.
2. Suggest a topic or idea which inspires you and which you wish to explore with other conference attendees.
3. Be prepared to act as a supportive host -- make sure everyone is having a good time, and has a chance to speak and be heard.
4. Foster an environment conducive to sharing, witnessing, and engaging.
5. Take time to pause and consider what is emerging from your group, and let the conversations take a natural path!
6. When choosing a location, remember that these dinners will work best in an area where everyone can hear each other at a normal conversational level.
7. Dinner party size should not exceed 10 people. We encourage you to cap the party size at 10 to foster a feeling of intimacy and connection during group conversation.
8. If selected as a host, you will be responsible for making the dinner reservations and coordinating with those who sign up to attend your dinner to ensure that everyone knows where to go, how to get there, and when to be there.
9. YOU DO NOT need to pick up the bill for dinner -- dinner attendees should arrange shared payment amongst themselves.

If your dinner topic is approved, it will be listed on the Mindfulness in America website for attendees to sign up on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we receive your signups, we will pass their names and contact information directly to you and you may communicate all details directly with your dinner party.

Host applications are due Thursday, September 26, 2019; the Wisdom 2.0 team will confirm the approved dinners by Friday, September 27.
