Welcome to the 2018 EducationUSA Iberian Tour

Thank you for your interest in recruiting in Spain and Portugal with EducationUSA!  Over the past 5 years Spain has experienced a 35% increase in student mobility to the U.S., and over the past 2 years Portugal has increased by 5%.  The Iberian Peninsula is an important and growing region for recruitment and we look forward to introducing you to the talented and highly motivated students there.

This year, we are adding Valencia as a stop in Spain in response to requests from many of you.  In total there will be 5 cities on the Tour: Porto and Lisbon in Portugal, and Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia in Spain (in that order).  The Tour will begin in Porto, Portugal on Wednesday afternoon, March 14 with a country briefing then a school visit and recruitment fair on the 15th.  On the evening of the 15th participants will travel to Lisbon where they will participate in the 'Futuralia Recruitment Fair', which is one of the largest education and career fairs in Europe, until Saturday March 17th.  Sunday the 18th is a travel day to Madrid, then a country briefing (about recruiting in Spain) and a fair on the 19th, travel to Barcelona the morning of the 20th and a recruitment fair there, and on the last day (Wed. the 21st) travel to Valencia and a fair there.  The number of students expected at each event will vary from city-to-city, ranging from many hundreds in Lisbon and Madrid to smaller numbers in the other cities.  Updates about the projected number of attendees in each city will be sent in the weeks leading up to the fairs, along with additional details for the schedule.  Information about cost and registration deadlines can be found via this link and below. Please note: The early bird deadline has been extended until February 16th.
