GDOT’s Transit Program will offer 12 hours of financial management training in conjunction with the GTA Conference in December to assist subrecipients in understanding and complying with FTA regulations. The training will be led by Rich Garrity, senior associate with RLS & Associates.

Schedule
Training will begin at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, December 5 prior to the kick-off of the GTA Conference at noon and will continue through noon on Thursday, December 6.

Who Should Attend
The training is designed for subrecipient staff members responsible for all aspects of financial accounting associated with the receipt and expenditure of FTA funds.

Topics Covered
An overview of the Super Circular, the role of OMB in Grants Management; cost principles; financial management standards; cost principles; audit requirements; indirect cost allocation plans, and cost sharing.

NOTE: Registration to the GTA Conference will cover the cost of training.
