Thank you for your interest in the Second Annual Legal Services Technology Summit.

LAAC works to bring quality, affordable trainings and opportunities to connect and collaborate to legal services providers throughout California. This summit will focus on the use of technology to serve legal aid clients.

WHEN: Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 5 p.m.

WHERE: Loyola Law School, 919 Albany Street, Los Angeles.

11:10 - Group Session -- Remote Services (use of interpreters, online dispute resolution)
12:00 - Lunch
1:00 - Group Session -- Security Concerns (protecting client data, recommended practices for advocates)
2:00 - Tech Staff Sessions -- Advanced Security Issues, Training staff to use technology, Technical challenges for intake and data collection, Document Assembly and e-filing
2:00 - Non-Tech Staff Sessions -- Data collection, Intake, Budgeting for technology projects, Using technology to better meet client needs
4:15- Closing Plenary -- Ask the Experts & Next Steps
