Each year, the ALFA Hero Awards recognize individuals who are ideal representatives of the hundreds of thousands of people serving in the senior living field. Nominated by residents, family members, supervisors, and colleagues these individuals represent the highest levels of excellence, caring and dedication in the senior living business, and mirror all the hard-working people choosing to serve seniors. All nominations are due by 5 p.m. ET, Wednesday, December 31, 2014.

The 2015 awards will again include public voting for the winners from a select group of nominees. ALFA members along with a nominee’s family and friends can champion their nominated hero. More information will be published on the ALFA website as open voting becomes available in January.

Keep in mind that only community staff members or volunteers at the community may be nominated for the Hero Awards. Executive directors are no longer eligible for Hero Awards.
