Thank you for everyone that made this year's annual Surrey Teachers' Association Convention. This is the largest Professional Development Conference in BC and is hosted entirely by your colleagues volunteering.

Knowing that parking will always be limited at convention sites and a shuttle service from another local high school would be costly, (about $900 per day for 48 passengers transported every 10 minutes - possible 30 minute waits a peak times) Do you have suggestions for other alternatives to improve access to the convention sites.

Thank you for helping us by providing your feedback. We look forward to your help with presenting and suggesting presenters for the May 3, 2013 convention. Yes we are already starting plans for next year's Convention.

The elections for next year's committee will be held on June 13, 2012 during the STARA meeting held at Eaglequest 4:00pm start. If you would like to put your name forward to either be on the committee or help the committee with specific tasks during the year, please send a brief email to lorna@surreyteachers.org
