Every two years we ask agribusiness decision-makers to spare us about 15 minutes of their time to complete the Agribusiness Executive Survey.

The Survey is based on the same methodology of the Executive Opinion Survey, which forms a major component of The Global Competitiveness Report by the World Economic Forum. This survey will form part of the South African Agribusiness Competitiveness Report.

By capturing your expert opinion on the current business environment in which you operate, the report provides a unique source of insight into the understanding of what's going-on on ground-level. This is the only source of its kind to inform government, policy makers and agribusiness leaders on which factors are inhibiting and which factors are enhancing the competitiveness of agribusinesses in South Africa, to be used to formulate and prioritise plans and policies. Without it, any decision regarding creating employment, food security, land reform and transformation, agro-processing development and growth in the agricultural sector as a whole is unguided and not fully informed.

The Agricultural Business Chamber fulfils that important role of generating this intelligence, through this survey and the overall study, and present it at various important platforms whilst negotiating for the most enabling environment for agribusinesses to operate in.

Say your say and be heard by sparing us 15 minutes of your time and completing this survey.

Thank you very much in advance.

Kindly complete the questionnaire before the deadline on Friday 23 March 2012.

This page only serves as an introduction.

The next page asks for some basic information about your organisation / business, so that we know where to group your responses, to make most sense out of it.

The actual questionnaire follows thereafter.

Each question is asked in the most user / reader-friendly way possible. We guide your answer to two opposite opinions to the question. You can, however, choose any of the 7 bullets, to indicate how strongly you agree with the point to the right, or to the left. If you choose the middle, we assume you feel rather neutral about the point.
