Nominate an AP
Texas PreK-8 assistant principals may be nominated by their peers, their employers, their faculty members, or members of their communities. Nominees for this award must meet all criteria.
Region Assistant Principal of the Year criteria:
* In second year (minimum) of TEPSA membership.
* Active assistant principal at the time of nomination.
* Active assistant principal for at least two years.
* School must be committed to excellence through programs designed to meet the academic and social needs of all students.
* School must have firmly established community ties with parents and local business organizations.
* Respected by students, colleagues, parents, and the community at- large.
* Shows strong educational leadership by setting high expectations for school staff and students.
Region Assistant Principal of the Year criteria:
