CSC Description

Each Denver Public School has a Collaborative School Committee (CSC) with representation from parents, students, community, faculty, administrators, and classified staff. The CSC provides strategic direction in support of the school's mission and vision as stated in the Unified Improvement Plan (UIP).    

The CSC’s range of responsibilities includes:
*Developing and aligning resources and strategies to support the academic success of every East Angel.
*Providing guidance, evaluation and approval for the Unified Improvement Plan (UIP).
*Providing guidance, evaluation and approval for the use of the school budget and school program design.

Nominations Process:

The CSC has two (2) parent representative positions open for a two year term (2017-2018 & 2018-2019 school years) for those with students in 9th and 11th grades. Positions for parents of 10th and 12th grade students have already been filled. These positions are open to parents/ legal guardians of enrolled East students.
Nomination will be accepted from Monday, May 22, 2017 9:00am until Tuesday, August 22, 2017 3:00pm.

***From Monday, June 19 until Monday, July 24, 2017 nominations are only available on-line.***


Voting Process:

East parents/legal guardians will be able to vote for two (2) nominated candidates from Friday, August 25, 2017 3:00pm until Friday, September 8, 2017 3:00pm. * Only one voting ballot may be submitted per parent.*  Results will be posted on the website on Monday, September 11, 2017. Elected representatives will start their term officially at the East CSC meeting on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 held from 4:00pm-5:30pm.
