LeadingAge Tennesse - 2016 Annual Meeting Call for Presentations
LeadingAge Tennessee invites you to share your expertise in the field of aging services by submitting a proposal to be a presenter at our Annual Meeting and Vendor Showcase August 8-10, 2016 in Franklin, TN. We seek proposals that demonstrate best practices, exemplify creativity, and inspire innovation in the field of aging. This year our theme is “Be the Difference.” It’s all about walking the talk, standing out as a leader of aging services and not just saying you’re different but truly being different as a person and as an organization!
The Annual Meeting is a two-day gathering providing high quality educational sessions, product exhibits and networking opportunities for attendees. The event is an excellent opportunity for community and business members to share expertise and trends specific to aging services.
Following the 2015 conference, attendees told us they were interested in the following topics for 2016: advocacy and lobbying, public policy, changes in post-acute care, attracting and retaining staff, improving the perception of long term care, servant leadership, nursing/clinical issues
and best practices, HIPPA update, MDS Survey, PAE process, culture change, assisted living assessment tools, home and community based services, human resource issues, financing, financial viability, financial ethics and disclosure, leadership development, social media, new technology and service delivery methods, regulatory and legal issues.
All proposals are to be submitted no later than January 31, 2016. The Committee will review all proposals and make selections shortly after this date.
