The Canadian Pain Coalition

The Canadian Pain Coalition (CPC) is a not for profit partnership of pain consumer groups, individuals, health professionals who care for people in pain and scientists studying better ways to treat pain. CPC is conducting this General Pain Survey to collect important information about the pain experience of Canadians in order to further its work related to improving the understanding, treatment and management of all types of pain in Canada. Your participation in this survey as a person with pain, or someone who cares for a person living in pain, provides you with an opportunity to have your voice heard and to help improve our overall understanding of how pain affects a person’s life and that of their caregiver.

CPC will use the information from the survey to:
• Make decisions about its future education and support programs,
• Direct the expansion of the Pain Resource Centre, Canada’s central, medically reviewed web resource for pain and pain management located on the CPC website, and
• Provide the person with pain’s perspective and their caregiver to government regarding health policy.

Your participation is very much appreciated.

Please note that individual survey results will be kept confidential.
