4% of survey complete.

COMPLETING THIS SURVEY WILL:

enable you to identify your ideal training route including your route to accessing Approved Internal Quality Assurer Status (AIQAS) where applicable.

TARGET GROUPS:

  • Experienced Internal Quality Assurers
  • Those new to Internal Quality Assurance
  • Managers of Internal Quality Assurers and Assessors
  • Internal Quality Assurers aiming to achieve AIQAS.

What is AIQAS:

Approved Internal Quality Assurer Status (AIQAS) enables an individual in a recognised centre to authorise the Recommendation for the Award of Credit (RAC) form issued by Gateway Qualifications without the need for external quality assurance.

Benefits to your organisation in undertaking and achieving AIQAS?

  • Direct claims status
  • Prompt certification
  • No extra costs for additional EQA visits
  • Robust internal quality systems

Benefits to the individual in undertaking achieving AIQAS?

  • Nationally accredited training
  • Continuing professional development (CPD)
  • Evidence of internal quality assurance competence

Is AIQAS Mandatory?

AIQAS is in many cases very beneficial but is not mandatory. Without AIQAS approval an Internal Quality Assurer can internally verify learners' work but will not be able to sign off the Recommendation for the Award of Credit (RAC) form issued by Gateway Qualifications and the centre will require additional EQA visits.
