Eric Medina, program associate at the Weingart Foundation and former Community Partners staff member, will provide us with an overview of the foundation's grantmaking guidelines and initiatives.
With more than $718 million in assets, the Weingart Foundation makes grants for core support, capacity building, and programs in the areas of health, human services, and education. The foundation is one of the few foundations in Los Angeles that provides support for core operations and capacity building.
This is an invaluable opportunity to learn first-hand what grantmakers look for in a proposal, to make a personal connection, and to learn more about Weingart Foundation's funding priorities and guidelines.
