First Unitarian Church Caring & Inclusive Community Survey
Begin the Caring and Inclusive Community Survey
First Unitarian Church’s Board of Trustees has adopted the following goals (called ends statements) related to our church as a caring and inclusive community.
The goals are: “Members, friends, and visitors feel welcomed, cherished, and supported throughout our lives as we
• affirm the inherent worth and dignity of every person in an open, inclusive, safe and accessible environment
• care for and support one another in times of celebration and need
• experience a sense of belonging and meaningful relationships with each other and the church
• value, foster, and commit to diversity in all forms.”
A committee has formed to outline a path toward these goals and ends. We are committed to listening deeply to all perspectives.
We want to do all we can to ensure that our members and friends feel completely safe in sharing their perspectives about inclusivity.
So, we have developed the following survey through which to gather diverse perspectives.
Our committee welcomes your frank and honest responses.
