TexNet is an action alert network that allows you to alert your Congressman or Senator about issues that have an impact on the textile and apparel sector and supplier industries.

As a member of TexNet, you will be able to send grassroots messages to members of Congress and to the Administration on key issues and help ensure that the textile and apparel sector gets a fair shake in Washington. This grassroots effort, which is managed by the National Council of Textile Organizations (NCTO), is aimed at broadening the voice of the textile and apparel industry and allowing workers and companies across the country to get their views heard.
_______________________________________________________________________
(a) What TexNet Does: When a key issue comes before Congress or the Administration, TexNet members will receive an "emergency action alert" e-mail with information about the issue and a request that an action be taken. This action could be an email to a member of Congress, a phone call to a district office or signing a joint letter to the administration. TexNet is entirely voluntary and it is up to each TexNet member to decide if they wish to take the action requested.
(b) Why is TexNet Needed: When members of Congress are making up their minds about an issue, the most important messages they get are those from constituents in their districts. By participating in TexNet, you can play an important role by sending messages from the district itself.
(c) Who can be a TexNet Member: You can be a member of TexNet if you work for a company that either makes textile or apparel products in the United States or supplies fibers, chemicals or services to the U.S. textile and apparel sector (Note: If you work for a textile or apparel company, at least 50% of your company's production must occur in the United states).

To participate in TexNet, please complete and submit the following information to begin receiving alerts.
