1. SDC 2013 Call For Presentations

The Storage Networking Industry Association Announces the 2013 Storage Developer Conference

Created BY Developers FOR Developers

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the 2013 Storage Developer Conference.

Conference Dates: September 16 - 19, 2013
Conference Venue: Hyatt Regency Hotel - Santa Clara, California

Before continuing with this proposal form please be prepared to submit the following information:

  • -Complete contact information of the presenter
  • -Presentation title and 75-125 word abstract
  • -3-5 bullet points detailing learning objectives for your proposed presentation
  • -Presenter biography
  • -Acknowledgement that you accept the Speaker Presentation Requirements and Conditions

Presenters receive a four-day complimentary pass to SDC, to include attendance at all speaking sessions and meals during the conference.

One co-presenter per session is permitted by co-presenter registering and paying a heavily discounted fee of $450.00 (whether attending all or part of the SDC conference). This also includes access to all presentations and meals during the conference. Any special considerations or requests for exceptions to this must be directed to nancy.clay@snia.org.

Please note: the SDC audience comprises a *technical* community of storage solution/product developers, architects, and engineers. There are very few end-user participants (mostly internal devs for large companies).

The SDC Agenda Team recommends careful consideration of the fit of your proposed presentation to this audience. Company and/or product ‘pitches’ will not be accepted and people with Sales or Marketing in their job-titles are discouraged from attending SDC unless their product is of direct interest to the SDC demographic. In other words, SDC is a conference that you would enjoy attending, and the SDC Program Committee works hard to keep it that way.

Presentations geared towards the CIO or enterprise Storage customers (end-users) may be better suited for SNW which SNIA co-owns. Find information at www.snwusa.com.
