BRK10: MOTOR DELAYS: EARLY IDENTIFICATION AND EVALUATION

Learning Objectives:
1) Participants will explore the application of a new clinical algorithm for the screening of children’s neuromotor development.
2) Participants will recognize the importance of early motor screening by primary care providers and the initial steps in management that guide referrals to subspecialists.
3) Participants will improve their knowledge of neuromotor “red flags”- those signs or symptoms that should alert clinicians that an expedited referral is needed.
4) By viewing videos of children with neuromotor diseases, participants will improve their detection of young children with neuromotor delays.
