Evidence-Based Practice in Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Project. |
1. Background
The goal of this project is to ensure that across the province all AOHC member centres including CHCs, AHACs, CFHTs and NPLCs are supported to meet the requirements of the accessibility standards under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
The Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services, Enabling Change Program, has funded the Association of Ontario Health Centres (AOHC) to carry out research, communication and capacity building with all member centres. The first phase of the project is a baseline assessment of current compliance related to the IASR and centre challenges and needs for training and other supports through the project.
This survey should be completed by someone who has responsibility for compliance with AODA legislation. The final day for completing the survey is Friday January 11th. Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the survey. If you have any questions please contact Heidi Schaeffer, AOHC Knowledge and Learning Lead, Heidi@aohc.org
PLEASE NOTE: The information gathered in this survey will be kept confidential by the AOHC.
