The Governors State University Community Service Council is a VOLUNTEER Board of GSU students who will work with the Center for Community and Civic Engagement to promote, and present opportunities for GSU campus and surrounding community. Each service opportunity is designed to engage students in experiences that address human and community needs.

Community Service Council Mission Statement:

Students who become involved with GSU Community Service Council and Student Life will develop leadership and organizational skills, and are provided opportunities to advance student learning, as well as professional and personal development.
