The Iowa Department of Transportation is responsible for transportation planning for state highways and facilities. This includes air quality, building and improving roads, bicycle and pedestrian networks, supporting aviation, public transit, and rail systems and other transportation concerns.
To get more ideas from Iowans for the Iowa DOT's planning efforts, the department is updating it Public Participation Plan.
