Welcome!
Thank you for volunteering to work with youth in our District. This website is part of our District's commitment to youth protection. Rotarians who have significant contact with youth (RYLA counselors, Interact Advisors, Youth Exchange Host Parents, etc.) are required to go through this process.
As you go through the site you will be asked to do the following:
Complete the Volunteer Application (one per family)
Go through the State of California background check (required for each person 18 years or older in your home who will be working with youth)
After you complete the application and background screen, you will receive an e-mail inviting you to participate in Youth Protection Training and answer questions about what you have learned. This will take approximately 45 minutes and must be completed by everyone 18 years and older in your home who has significant interaction with Youth through Rotary. For instance, significant others who join you at Interact activities and other adults (18 and older) in your home if you are hosting an exchange student.
