Dear Chi Runners and Chi Walkers,

I am a physician and lifelong runner from West Virginia University and am conducting research to better understand how Chi techniques can help one run and walk more comfortably and injury free. A short survey on this topic was fielded in 2007, but it’s time to update these findings now that the number of Chi Runners and Chi Walkers has dramatically increased.

I’d like to know ... is it easy to learn? Does it have any real impact on comfort and injury? And if you’re in the military, has it had any effect on your Fitness Test?

Please take a few moments to complete this short but valuable survey. It should take no more than 10 minutes.

This survey is voluntary and your results will remain confidential. You must be 18 years of age or older to submit the survey.

Thank you,
Mark Cucuzzella MD
