This online survey is a major part of the consultation process that will lead to a National Strategy for Scotland's museums and galleries. Your involvement is vital to ensure a robust, comprehensive strategy that meets the needs of the whole sector.

The questions in the online survey refer to the consultation document, which can be found here. You will need to have the document to hand as you answer the questions in order to refer to the relevant sections. At the end of the survey you will have the opportunity to make general remarks about the consultation document.

The survey will need to be completed in one sitting. If you are answering on behalf of an organisation and would like to consult the questions before completing the survey online, you can find a printable copy of the survey questions here. We welcome your input into the consultation, whether as individual or as representative of an organisation. In order for us to contextualise your response, please provide us with some additional information in the profile section.

The survey should take approximately 25-30 minutes. In your response, please focus on those areas that are most important and relevant to you.

All responses will remain anonymous and only be made available to the research team.
