Transportation Network

Summer 2012

Dear Colleague:

San Bernardino Associated Governments [SANBAG] maintains a Transportation Network listing of agency representatives concerned with public transit and other mobility needs of seniors, persons with disabilities and persons of limited means.   Formerly contained within the San Bernardino County Public and Specialized Transportation Directory, the Transportation Network listing has various purposes.

We may provide those on the Network with notices regarding any of the following during the year:
- Public hearings about transit fare changes and other initiatives.
- Bus routing or other operational changes.
- New services such as van pools, specialized shuttles or other new transportation-related programs.
- Bi-Monthly Public and Specialized Transportation Advisory and Coordination Council.
- Grant opportunities:
- Information about special transportation coordination opportunities.
- Transit-related training and scholarship opportunities:

Following is a short, 4 question survey where you can tell us about your organization, including whether or not you provide transportation and your transportation interest areas.

We expect the Transportation Network will help you keep tabs on existing and new transportation services, communicating with your constituents in an informed manner about our current public transit – bus and rail – service network and anticipated improvements to it. We look forward to hearing from you.
