Introduction

UNCCD Pilot Tracking Exercise

The UNCCD has undertaken a major process on impact indicators, including the process of identifying, refining and piloting them.

UNEP-WCMC has been contracted by UNCCD to provide technical support to eleven countries participating in a pilot of their use – for more details see: http://impact-pilot.unccd.int/

Within this process and working closely with UNCCD Secretariat, UNEP-WCMC is working to compile a list of experts available to provide advice on Impact Indicators during the UNCCD Pilot Tracking Exercise. We would greatly appreciate your contribution to a short questionnaire in this regard.

This questionnaire will take less than 2 minutes and the results will be solely used by UNEP-WCMC to compile a list of experts available (via email) to comment on technical questions raised by Pilot countries during the study. For this purpose, we kindly ask you for your contact details.

The survey covers all 11 Impact Indicators listed in the ‘White Paper’ and we kindly ask you to rate your experience and availability (from now until end of September) for each indicator with 1 being low and 5 being high.

Thank you very much for contributing your time.

Regards,

Björn Schulte-Herbrüggen
