PERA Board of Trustees 2022 Election Candidacy Packet Request

In May 2022, Colorado PERA will hold four elections for the following seats on the Board of Trustees:

School Division—4-year term (Will be filled by an active employee of a public school, not including Denver Public Schools)
State Division—4-year term (Higher Education seat that will be filled by an active employee from an Institution of Higher Education)
State Division – Special election—2-year term (Will be filled by an active employee at any employer assigned to the State Division, other than an Institution of Higher Education)
Local Government Division—4-year term (Will be filled by an active employee at a local government employer)

If you are unsure which election you may qualify for, please look up which Division your current employer is assigned to in PERA Rule 2.15, linked here: PERA RULES 2.15.

If you are interested in running for a seat on PERA’s Board of Trustees, please complete this survey to request your candidacy packet. Candidates are encouraged to request packets as early as possible as all materials are due by 11:59 p.m. (Mountain Time) on March 1, 2022 to qualify to be placed on the ballot.
