Dear Participant in the survey,

This request is addressed to you in connection with the decision of the Committee on Housing and Land Management at its 75th session, to develop a study on standards on energy efficiency in buildings, which could address one or more of the following thematic priorities:

·        Energy efficiency of buildings, including manufacturing of building materials and energy performance requirements;

·        Building codes and standards;

·        Construction codes for healthy and barrier-free housing.

You are kindly invited to complete the questionnaire below. The questionnaire will provide an input into the Expert Consultation on Energy Efficiency Standards in Buildings, organized by the Committee on Housing and Land Management (CHLM) and the Committee on Sustainable Energy (CSE) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) on 20 and 21 April 2015 in Geneva. The meeting aims to give an overview of the existing energy efficiency standards in buildings; discuss needs of UNECE member States in the field; and elaborate next steps for the work of UNECE on Energy Efficiency Standards in Buildings. More information on the event can be found at www.unece.org/housing/expertconsultation_ee1.
