Dear member, As you may know, last week Governor Shumlin announced new options for small businesses and individuals making the transition to the State’s health benefits exchange called Vermont Health Connect. We are working collaboratively with the Administration on the details of these new options and will be sending written communications to customers within the next several weeks. These communications will outline the various options available and what steps you should take and when. Given that these are very new changes and that we are still working through the details for how Vermonters are impacted, we will be postponing our upcoming enrollment support meetings scheduled. We believe that the contingency plans are positive because they give Vermonters more options and more time to enroll in qualified health plans for 2014. If you have any questions or would like to speak to an exchange specialist, please don’t hesitate to call 800-255-4550. We appreciate your understanding.
