Walkin' on Wednesdays (WOW)

If you are looking for a fun and easy way to get “fit” and make friends, then lace up your sneakers for the kickoff of Walkin’ on Wednesdays (WOW) next Wednesday, October 12th. WOW is aimed at increasing the number of children who walk or ride their bicycles to school in recognition of National Walking-to-School Month.

The Dobbs Ferry Community, in conjunction with the Dobbs Ferry Energy Task Force, the PTSA Health and Safety Committee, and the ecology clubs in Springhurst, Dobbs Ferry Middle School, and Dobbs Ferry High School encourage families to team up with their friends and neighbors to walk together to school. Note: children in younger grades should be accompanied by an adult.
