Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to complete this survey about the proposed vision, goals, and actions for the Winthrop Strategic Plan for Economic Development. This survey follows after the community forum held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 and preparation of the Economic Trends Report by the Collins Center at UMass Boston. The Trends Report is posted on the Town of Winthrop’s website for your review. This report includes a lot of valuable information about our local economy.
In this survey, you will see that there is quite a bit of material for you to consider and give feedback on. Altogether, this ambitious strategic plan that will strengthen the Town’s local economy contains 10 goals, and 136 actions at this draft stage. We would like to get your opinion on each of them. That said, if there are areas in which you do not want to give feedback, just hit the “next” button to keep moving on.
We have left space for written comments after each of the major goal areas so if you have additional ideas that are not included in this draft, please add them there.
