Text Messaging — Time-sensitive, Efficient, Respectful

JourneyCare's Volunteer Services Team is looking to significantly enhance the way we communicate with our volunteers. One way we'd like to improve communications involves embracing some new technology.

Occasionally we may have a time-sensitive notification, such as "Today's memorial service in Chicago has been postponed by 1 hour." or "Urgent need for volunteers at the Glenview CareCenter tonight. Call 224-770-2488 if you can help."

If you are comfortable receiving periodic notifications via text message from the Volunteer Service Staff, please confirm your cell phone number and share your mobile provider. We need both pieces of information to set this up for you in our system.
