Creation of accessible holiday lets at Thornbridge Outdoors

Sheffield City Council are proposing to develop an accessible holiday let at Thornbridge Outdoors. Thornbridge Outdoors is a council-owned outdoor pursuits facility in the Peak National Park.

By creating high quality, accessible accommodation, the council hopes to be able to offer flexible holiday breaks at a reasonable price to families with disabled children and young people in Sheffield. The holiday let would be available for the majority of weekends and Sheffield school holidays. For the rest of the time, it would be used to enable disabled children to join their classmates more easily on school residentials.
