FREE Torture Awareness Month 2014 Toolkit

The National Religious Campaign Against Torture invites you to join in marking June as Torture Awareness Month. In 1997, the United Nations decided to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the enactment of the Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment by declaring June 26 the International Day of Support of Victims of Torture.

We invite you to use our toolkit to assist you and your congregation or faith group in planning educational, advocacy and worship events. The toolkit includes a bulletin insert, prayers, litanies, and a downloadable poster. If you have questions or would like to help in planning an event, please contact Paz Artaza-Regan at 202-547-1920 or by email.

Please enter your information below and when you click "submit" your browser will be directed to the toolkit (PDF).
