1. Survey Introduction

Non-fatal strangulation is commonly committed during sexual and domestic violence attacks. As examiners who care for victims of violence, you will be exposed to patients who have been strangled. The purpose of this survey is to determine what clinicians have participated in with regards to strangulation assessment and documentation training. Even if you have no training in strangulation we ask that you complete this survey so that we may capture those demographics as well. Additionally it will provide an opportunity to capture the extent in which the examiners address strangulation.

The duration of this survey should take about 3-5 minutes.

Participation in this survey is voluntary. Your name will not be associated with your responses unless you provide your name at the conclusion of the survey.

The last day to respond is May 19, 2014.
