This program is created for you to gain valuable advice and guidance from those who have experience that could be Please note this is an informal program. Upon the completion of your application, you will be contacted if a mentor is available and suited for your area of expertise. Once you are matched with a mentor, from there, we allow you the freedom to pursue and take advantage of the opportunity as you wish. Expectations & Criteria:
-Please note this program is for existing small businesses. There is no revenue or employee count threshold to participate in the program. However, please note the program is not geared to offer you advice about how to start a business (i.e. for those who are in 'idea phase' as those needs are unique). If you are a start-up and need advice, please contact us at info@hbgrc.org.
-Mentors have been asked to meet with you 4-6 times throughout the year and also to be available to answer questions and offer guidance. Please request meetings and give advance notice.
-It is your responsibility as a small business owner to reach out and be proactive about setting up appointments and also to follow up with mentor. Our role as a chamber is to make the connection.
-There are no expectations of specific action points during this program, however, if you and your mentor have agreed upon steps that you can take to better your business, we would expect you to be proactive about the advice you are given.
