With support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Sharsheret is developing a program to address the needs of young breast cancer survivors who were first diagnosed under the age of 45. We’ve taken some time to review the surveys you may have already seen, and we’ve spoken with young women throughout the country about the survivorship issues that are important to you as a young survivor. We learned that breast cancer survivors face issues surrounding medical care, employment and insurance, maintaining a healthy lifestyle both physically and emotionally, fertility, parenting, and spirituality.

Now it’s your turn to weigh in and let us know how important these issues are to you.

Over the next 9 pages (approximately 10 minutes to complete), we will ask you to help us identify the survivorship concerns foremost on your mind. Your thoughtful feedback will help us better understand the most pressing needs that we should consider addressing in the new survivorship program we will launch later this year.

Thank you for taking the time to shape this critical program for young cancer survivors. Your own experience will help us better the lives of young survivors nationwide.
