1. Information on Accelerate into University! Open Taster Sessions in February 2015
Register to attend one of the Open Taster Sessions for Accelerate into University by Tuesday 17th February 2015
This registration form is for both teachers and students
The Open Taster Sessions will provide students, teachers, careers advisors and parents an opportunity to hear in person about the programme, where students will:
- be informed about and experience the programme
- meet previous mentees, UCL student mentors, professional mentors and the Open-City education team
- be advised on relevant AS/A level subject choices for built environment Higher Education courses.
There is the option of two dates to choose from:
DATES: Tuesday 24th February + Wednesday 25th February
TIME: 5 -7.30pm
LOCATION: The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL: 132 Hampstead Rd, NW1 2BX
Light refreshments will be provided

Accelerate into University! is a pioneering mentoring programme, established in 2012 by Open-City, who have been developing architecture education and community programmes for the last 22 years. This programme has been developed in partnership with University College London (UCL) and Make Architects to widen access to Built Environment professions (architecture, planning, engineering), targeted at academically-able London state school students from non-traditional backgrounds; so far, just under 100 students have taken part and benefited from the programme.
