Next Generation Science Standards in Oregon Survey

This survey provides an opportunity for you to share your questions, concerns, and needs regarding adoption, transition to, and implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) in Oregon. For background information about the NGSS please visit the ODE NGSS web page. To review the NGSS and the supporting materials, please visit the Achieve NGSS website.

Please note that this fall and winter, Oregon Department of Education staff, in collaboration with a science content and assessment advisory group, will review the NGSS and provide analysis, including a comparison to Oregon’s current Science Academic Content Standards, as well as develop a timeline for adoption, transition, implementation, and assessment. Your comments on this survey will help inform that process and help us to address your concerns and needs.
