This Professional Advancement Session honors the late Dr. Eddie Reed (1953-2014) who was a pioneer and leader both in cancer research and as a mentor and role model for minority scientists. It provides a forum in which students, postdoctoral fellows, junior investigators, and others can hear from leaders in different disciplines central to cancer disparities research on their career paths and the importance of working across disciplines to make an impact on cancer health disparities. Panel members will address these topics through a facilitated discussion with dedicated Q&A time.

All conference registrants are invited to attend this session at no additional cost. A complimentary lunch will be served.
