Project Purpose
The Avenue NYC Merchant Organizing project is intended to address the following issue in the targeted commercial corridor:
• Absence of a high-capacity merchants association that can address merchant needs, advocate on behalf of merchants, and fundraise for merchant activities. The lack of such an entity hinders business development and undermines the corridor’s ability to adequately service the local resident community.
The subsequent questions are designed to determine how well your organization’s Merchant Organizing project will combat the issue above.
