Managing the Flexible Workforce Survey™ Welcome! Question Title The Managing the Flexible Workforce Survey is part of a new research study being conducted by Stegmeier Consulting Group that will examine the leadership qualities and competencies evident in organizations that have successfully implemented a flexible work program. Our goal is to identify best practices that can be adopted by managers who will need to engage, lead, motivate, and hold accountable the individual contributors whom they may not see throughout the typical workday. For the purpose of this survey, flexible work may be defined as flexibility in WHERE individuals work (e.g. flex work, agile work, telecommuting, web commuting, work shifting, distributed work, remote work, virtual work, telework, work-at-home, hoteling, desk sharing, hot desking, free address, unassigned spaces, shared-space, or other alternative workplace environments). Flexible work may be defined as flexibility in WHEN and/or HOW individuals work (e.g. compressed work weeks, part-time, reduced time, job-share arrangements, choices in managing work times, gradual retirement, etc.).
