The Last Straw campaign will take place from now until the end of June 2011. The twin goals of the campaign are to ensure that: The Government of Manitoba introduces accessibility-rights legislation in the Spring of 2011 The legislation that is introduced is both strong and effective and that it is further strengthened through the legislative process. We all know that politicians should do what is right and what is reasonable. Sometimes they find reasons not to. If there are any moments of indecision on which way to go, we're hoping that the extra encouragement of The Last Straw Campaign will help them act with the courage and commitment needed to make Manitoba a true leader in promoting and protecting the rights of persons with a disability.
