This survey is focused on Herpes Simplex Virus 2 (HSV-2), a sexually transmitted disease that affects one in six people in the United States. Recent clinical studies have shown that the spread of the virus can be greatly reduced with proper medication and simple behavioral changes. However, 80% of those carrying the virus have not been diagnosed. We are developing a simple test that will allow consumers to test their HSV-2 status in the privacy of their home.
