We are committed to involving people who use services and carers (such as family or friends) in the work we do.

Examples of good involvement activities could be;
1. focus groups to guide SCSWIS managers on specific issues
2. more Lay/Carer Inspectors working with us
3. forums to discuss changes in the way we carry out our work
4. project groups to give us the perspectives of carers and people who use care services.

We would like to hear your views on how we can develop an effective Involvement Strategy including methods we should use,
benefits of involvement and the activities that we should offer.

We will use this feedback to improve upon the solid foundations of involvement activities from our predecessors.
