This survey is for employees of Amey Inter Urban, and asks about your attitude to collective bargaining. It has been compiled by the TSSA trade union who recently won collective bargaining rights for our members in Amey Consulting, however, it is open to all employees to complete. Collective bargaining means that a trade union has the right to negotiate wage increases, pay and hours and to be consulted over issues such as restructuring, redundancy or TUPE transfers. It also gives the trade union the right to appoint local representatives from within its membership who are trained to support colleagues in hearings over capability, sickness, discipline and grievances.
