Indiana agriculture is an essential segment
in the economic development and growth of Indiana’s success. As such, it takes a
diverse group of individuals working in agricultural production as well as
those that do not work directly in production.
This award seeks to identify an individual who is not directly involved in
the production of agricultural products in the state, but has made an outstanding contribution,
either directly or indirectly, to Indiana agriculture. The individual’s accomplishments should reflect his/her efforts to educate or bring about agricultural growth through modern agricultural practices.
Criteria for Eligibility
• Individual must not be a farmer.
• Individual must reside in Indiana.
• Individual has made significant contribution to Indiana agriculture through his/her outreach.
• Individual has not been the recipient of this award in the past.
Guidelines for Submittal
• Self nominations are accepted.
